I have a lifelong fascination with thermonuclear weapons; the only sure fire way that we have of making the planet probably unsurvivable for all life. I don't care for most post-apocalyptic fiction. Why have fiction when you can simply extrapolate from science and non-fiction? We all have to step out someday anyway, why not do it in style?
