A rant about books, horror, and the weird.  I sometimes take on my love/hate relationship with goodreads and Amazon.

Tale of Two Cities

A Tale of Two Cities - Charles Dickens Dicken's other historical novel (Barnaby Rudge being the first). Pretty weak effort for Dickens, okay really weak for Dickens. I'm not sure why schools still subject children to this rather than the much better Great Expectations of Copperfield, probably because it is relatively short and an easier read. Despite some memorable characters and rousing action and a fabulous ending still not a strong "Dickens" novel.
