Surprise
Goofy little novella about two British secret agents in Victorian England who apparently deal with any problems of possible supernatural origin. Anyway, everyone ends up down a well under a barn pursued by insect-like subterranean intelligent dogs and other eldritch evils. At turns funny and suspenseful, you'll be charmed and entertained by the two knife wielding, pistol packing characters. One read and off to the second hand shop.
And for all you bigots there's a surprise.
